Directions

Ardormie Farm Cottage is situated just 10 minutes away from the main road and is easy to find if you follow these directions!

From Perth

From Perth there are two routes to Ardormie, one following the A93 through Blairgowrie and the other following the A94 through Coupar Angus.

A93 – follow the road signs for Blairgowrie.  Continue through the town, over the bridge at Rattray and follow the A926 to Alyth.  Don’t turn off the road to Alyth but continue to the Five Ways Roundabout and take the exit signed for Glenisla, the B954.  Follow the road past the golf courses; turn right at the T junction following the B954.  After approximately 3 miles turn left at a fork which is signposted for Dykehead.  Turn left after 30m onto a tarmac farm road which has a sign saying Ardormie Farm.  Follow the road straight up the hill for 1 mile and Ardormie Farm Cottage is through the farm yard and on the left at the top of the hill. It has a huge tall chimney so you can’t miss it.

A94 – follow the main road through Coupar Angus towards Forfar.  Just before entering Meigle, turn left onto the B954 signposted to Alyth.  This road takes you to the Five Ways Roundabout and you take the exit signed for Glenisla, B954.  Follow the road past the golf courses; turn right at the T junction following the B954.  After approximately 3 miles turn left at a fork which is signposted for Dykehead.  Turn left after 30m onto a tarmac farm road which has a sign saying Ardormie Farm.  Follow the road straight up the hill for 1 mile and Ardormie Farm Cottage is through the farm yard and at the top of the hill.

From Glasgow Airport

Leave the airport and follow the M8 east.  Continue until Junction 8 and take the exit for Stirling M80/A80.  Follow signs for Perth and follow the road as it becomes the A9.  On the outskirts of Perth turn left at the Broxden Roundabout and follow the A9 to Inverness.  At the Inveralmond Roundabout again follow the A9 to Inverness.  After approx 1 mile turn off the A9 at the first exit which is signposted to Stanley.  Follow the road through Luncarty and then Stanley.  Just outside Stanley turn right following the sign to Blairgowrie. At the end of this road turn right at the T Junction and this will take you over the River Tay.  Turn left onto the A93 and follow the road to Blairgowrie.
