Hills and heather are in abundant supply as are rivers and lochs. The beautiful Angus Glens offer ample opportunities for hill walking with other more or less challenging walks available within the area, indeed The Cateran Trail passes right through the farm. For the golfer there are several major golf courses within striking distance and both fishing and skiing are on hand depending on the season.  Perthshire and Angus offer a wide variety of ancient and historic sites. Easily within reach are the ancient capitals of Scone and Forteviot, the battle site of Killicrankie, Dunkeld Cathedral, Arbroath Abbey, Glamis Castle and many more.
